Trees provide so many benefits to our everyday lives. They filter clean air, provide fresh drinking water, help curb climate change, and create homes for thousands of species of plants and animals. “50 Days of Dedication to Mother Earth”- An introductory awareness event “GREEN CONCLAVE” conducted on the 3rd of June at Punjab Municipal Corporation, Sector-35, Chandigarh to launch this campaign. The event was graced by the presence of S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker, Punjab, Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur Dhillon, Mayor, and Chandigarh.
The Event witnessed:
a. Green Peace Awards to the luminaries in this field.
b. ECO Warriors Awards.
c. Plantation at Venue- Punjab Municipal Corporation, Sector-35, Chandigarh.
